There have been several rumors circulating lately, according to which the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be released shortly on the market. However, all Samsung did was to deny these rumors about the release of the super-phone, leaving fans only with a vague suspicion that the phone will actually arrive soon after all…
The good news is that a Samsung executive has finally made up his mind and revealed a few important notes regarding this rumor. Kim Young-Ha, who is the Senior Vice President of Samsung China, informed reporters that the company is currently considering moving the launch event of the product to April, instead of May as it was initially scheduled.
The Vice President made these affirmations during an interview with the Chinese press. Samsung has got a very good position on the Chinese market, currently owning around 24% of the total market share. Now Apple holds only about 8% on the Chinese market, so you can immediately sense the power Samsung has got in China.
The company has indeed denied all rumors regarding the presentation of the Galaxy S3 in April, but now Kim Young-Ha admitted that the company wanted a launch event in May, because this would be the most realistic date (when the phone would have been actually available).
Currently, everybody is speculating that perhaps Samsung managed to speed up the manufacturing process, and now they can make the launch event much sooner. Even the company itself did not expect things to run as smooth, but they did, so now finally there is enough information available, which points towards the fact that the release is going to happen in April. All Samsung Galaxy S3 fans out there are only a few weeks away from seeing and touching the super-phone!
